Single family home
4 bedrooms | 3 bathroom | 1,565 square feet | 3,535 square foot lot
Our clients purchased this home in 2012 and while it was remodeled when they purchased, many years had passed. We only had a small budget to transform the appearance of the home so we had to make our money go really far.
The very first thing we addressed was the curb appeal. The rickety fence definitely had to go and the maroon trim was out of style and just made the home feel really dark. By replacing the fence with a redwood one we brought some warmth to the home. Painting the trim toned down the paint color of the body of the home. Finally, some new house numbers gives the home a modern touch.
Inside, we already had beautiful hardwood floors. The kitchen and bathrooms were in great shape so we decided to leave them as-is. We brightened up the entire home with a fresh coat of light gray paint and brightened up the trim. With stylish staging, this home looks completely different than when we first saw it.
We originally tried to sell this home off-market because of our clients timeline, but did not receive even a single inquiry. We convinced our clients to trust us to make some big impact changes. After just one week on the market, we had not stop showings and received four great offers to choose from. Our clients could not be more thrilled with the sales price that exceeded even their wildest dreams!
In total, we spent less than $10,000 and saw an increase of $100,000 from our original estimate! Talk about bang for your buck!
