Independence Day Weekend is upon us! Many are headed out of town to places like Lake Tahoe or Southern California. For those that are staying in town, take a look at some of the festivities going on right here in the Bay Area.

Alameda
Mayor’s 4th of July Parade

One of the longest Independence Day Parades in the nation with over 170 floats and 2,500 participants (No Fireworks)

6th Annual Stars & Stripes 5K Run and Walk

Enjoy this 3.1 mile run/walk at Todos Santos Plaza in Downtown Concord. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Monument Crisis Center and the Bay Area Crisis Nursery
