Independence Day Weekend is upon us! Many are headed out of town to places like Lake Tahoe or Southern California. For those that are staying in town, take a look at some of the festivities going on right here in the Bay Area.
Mayor’s 4th of July Parade
One of the longest Independence Day Parades in the nation with over 170 floats and 2,500 participants (No Fireworks)
Starts at 10:00 am
Celebration at Berkeley Marina from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm with live entertainment, food, arts & crafts, kids playground and fireworks at 9:30 pm off the end of the Berkeley Pier
Concord 4th of July
Kids carnival, food booths, vendor exhibits, and live entertainment on stage, with fireworks at the end of the day
6th Annual Stars & Stripes 5K Run and Walk
Enjoy this 3.1 mile run/walk at Todos Santos Plaza in Downtown Concord. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Monument Crisis Center and the Bay Area Crisis Nursery
Annual parade that attracts over 40,000 attendees starting at 9:00am on Hartz Ave – San Ramon Valley Blvd from El Cerro & Sycamore Valley Rd. No fireworks.
Parade through downtown starting at 10:00am No fireworks.
Red, White & Blue Fireworks & Block Party starting at 6:00pm in Downtown Livermore. Fireworks at 9:30pm
Friday, July 3. Fireworks after the Oakland A’s vs Mariners night game – Salute to Armed Forces Fireworks, Sport Clips Charity Cuts, Authentic Fan Friday concludes at the O.co Coliseum.
Saturday, July 4. Festival of Family Fun – Jack London Square will be hosting a fun daytime event (11:00am – 4:00pm) for families, featuring tasty treats, music and much more! No fireworks
Alameda County Fair- 4th of July Spectacular
Fireworks set to music performed by the Oakland East Bay Symphony and a salute to Hometown Heroes Video before the show.
Show starts approximately 9:30 pm, with best viewing in the Grandstand area
Celebration in Downtown and Pleasant Hill Park with parade, music, fun & games + fireworks at dusk.
Chalk Full of Fun on the 4th Festival – Free all-day festival featuring artists of all types. No Fireworks.
Oakland East Bay Symphony performs at 6:30pm at the Craneway Pavillion followed by fireworks at 9:15pm.
Waterfront festival at Pier 39 with live music from WJM and Tainted Love starting Noon until the fireworks show approximately at 9:30pm.
Rose, White & Blue Parade at 10:00am followed by entertainment and good things to eat, all at The Alameda. No fireworks.
Watch the San Jose Giants take on the Visalia Rawhide, Then enjoy a Postgame Fireworks after the game at Municipal Stadium.
Free, world-class fireworks return to downtown San Jose! APPROX. 9:30PM, at Discovery Meadow, thanks to Rotary.
Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. Fireworks start about 9:00pm on Friday. Get an early start on Saturday with an 8:30am foootrace & parade at 10:00am in the Highlands neighborhood.
Musical celebration at San Ramon Central Park from 5:00pm – 8:00pm No fireworks.
