Selling 1380 E 28th Street was an extremely heartfelt decision for its owners. HP had lived in the house for 30+ years and had put their blood, sweat, and tears into creating a home. And the other two owners, LS+FS, were born and raised in the home and had lived there their entire life. So, when the question arose whether or not to sell, it was not taken lightly.
They contacted us to help them sell back in April, and we immediately came by to assess the house. We put together a list of upgrades that we thought would bring them the highest ROI. On top of that, we decided to utilize our Compass Concierge Program so that they didn’t have to spend any money upfront on updates.
Once the owners were fully moved out by mid-August, we hit the ground running. We painted the interior and exterior of the house, refinished the floors, refreshed the landscaping, built a new fence in the backyard, updated the light fixtures throughout, and installed new carpet in two bedrooms upstairs.
