We had the absolute pleasure of selling this beautiful waterfront condo in Alameda’s Ballena Bay. Our Client, Wendi, came to us with the plan of selling her home, retiring, and moving to her second home in Mexico. With COVID and the potential issues selling so close to the end of the year we came up with a plan that worked really well for her.

Our Client was traveling for a few weeks, so we utilized this time to do two things: first was to take an off-market approach using Top-Agent-Network and Compass Private Exclusive. The second was to gather bids from contractors to refresh the kitchen.

We had multiple off-market showings, but no concrete offer. And after gathering feedback from the showings, it was confirmed that remodeling the kitchen was a strategic ROI. Within two weeks, we had the kitchen remodeled, photographed, staged, and we were officially on the market. Congrats to our Client, Wendi, who is now enjoying retirement in Mexico!
