Both Interstates 580 and 680 cross through the Tri-Valley, providing access to the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. Driving time to San Francisco is typically 45 minutes (add up to 30 minutes if driving during rush hour), and residents can be to Silicon Valley in about 40 minutes (add up to 20 minutes if driving during rush hour). The Tri-Valley area is also serviced by BART, which offers service to San Francisco via the West Dublin/Pleasanton and Dublin/Pleasanton stops.
