Following these tips will narrow down the list of qualified contractors to do the work that you need. In addition, I would recommend the following:
Getting a Referral – talk to others who have had experience with a remodeling job. See how they liked the contractor, their quality of work, prices, and personality.
See Them in Action – If possible, visit a job that the contractor is working on now. Look at how they run their job site and ask questions.
Verify the Quality of the Work – remodeled rooms typically look great from afar, but how do things look like up close. Are tiles set evenly? How are the seams on the countertops? Did they take the time in painting or did they just rush through it?
