Market Update, East Bay Takeout, Loan Forgiveness and More!

We hope you and your family are well and staying safe. We’ve been missing for the last couple of months with our newsletter, but I am glad to say, we are back! What a crazy start of the year it has been. Real estate was off to an unusually hot start at the beginning of the year and things have almost come to a halt. With the latest shelter in place order, real estate became an essential business so showings on vacant homes are now allowed. There are some very serious buyers out looking but there are still a lot of buyers and sellers waiting on the sidelines until we have more visibility.

Life during this shelter in place has certainly taking some getting used to. The first few days were really rough but since then, having a routine and keeping busy has certainly helped. On a positive note, since daycare is closed, I have had a lot more time to spend with my daughter, Elie, than I normally would have. I see her throughout the morning and have her to myself in the afternoons and evening on days my wife is working at the hospital. Can’t say its been easy because there are certainly a lot of times she frustrates me and at 23 months, no comes out of her mouth far too often. Most of the time, I can’t help but laugh because she is just being a two year old and the alternative of trying to negotiate with her will probably go nowhere.

Hope you all continue to stay safe and we will get through this!
