About San Ramon
Like many cities in the Tri-Valley, San Ramon can trace its history to being a tiny little town settled in the 1700’s. It experienced a slight boom during the gold rush days, but up until 1966 it was primarily an agricultural area. Things changed for San Ramon in 66’ as the 680 was finished connecting San Jose to Walnut Creek. An Interstate going through the town made it a prime area for development, and it wasn’t long before San Ramon became a desirable suburb.
San Ramon schools are part of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. They are consistently ranked among the best in the State of California and in the nation. The schools are just another reason that makes San Ramon such a desirable city to live in.
